Terms of Service
Last updated: April 25, 2026
Acceptance
By installing or using Klipr — the desktop app, the web app at getklipr.app, and any associated services (collectively, the "Service") — you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Klipr (16 in jurisdictions where that's the digital-consent age). By using Klipr you represent that you meet this requirement.
Your account
You sign in with a third-party identity provider (currently Clerk). You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@getklipr.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you capture or upload through Klipr. You grant Klipr a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, render, and display your content solely as needed to operate the Service — for example, to generate thumbnails, serve viewer pages at /v/:id, and deliver content to people you've shared with.
You're responsible for the content you capture and share. Don't capture or upload material you don't have the right to use, including anything that violates someone else's privacy, IP, or other rights.
Storage you connect
Klipr stores files in storage you connect — currently your own Google Drive. Use of that storage is governed by the third-party provider's own terms. If you disconnect or revoke access, Klipr loses the ability to serve those files.
Acceptable use
Don't:
- Capture, upload, or share content that's illegal, infringing, sexually explicit involving minors, or that incites violence.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use Klipr to harass, surveil, or capture content from people without consent where consent is required by law.
- Resell or rebrand Klipr without written permission.
Service changes and availability
We're a small team and the Service is offered as-is. Features may change, be removed, or be temporarily unavailable. We'll try to give notice for material changes that affect existing data or workflows.
Termination
You can stop using Klipr at any time and request account deletion via privacy@getklipr.app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose risk to other users or the Service.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that any specific feature will remain available.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Klipr will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Klipr's operating entity is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Klipr after changes constitutes acceptance.
